Why is Cocktail Hour first?
Answer
We are waiting until 6:00pm (sundown) to perform the ceremony so we would love to have you arrive promptly at 4:30pm to enjoy Cocktail Hour, have a drink and some hors d'oeuvres, and enjoy the serene location prior to the main event!
Question
Should I stay in Poughkeepsie, New Paltz or Highland?
Answer
Both the Poughkeepsie and New Paltz hotels should be within 10 minutes from the venue. We also are big fans of AirBnBs in the Highland area so we recommend you consider that as well!
Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
This event dress code is cocktail attire. If you are wearing heels, please ensure they are comfortable to wear on grass (i.e. no stiletto's). For men, suits are preferred.

What are you doing to ensure this is a COVID free event?
Answer
We are taking COVID precautions very seriously and hope you are too. We will require all guests to be vaccinated and test negative with a COVID test 1 day (antigen test) or 2-3 days (PCR test) before the wedding. We also are hearing that many people are testing positive after attending large events. With this in mind, we strongly encourage our friends and family to consider their activities in the week leading up to Oct 15.

What's the best way to travel to and from the venue?
Answer
If you are staying in Poughkeepsie or New Paltz, you shouldn't have a problem grabbing an Uber when heading to the venue. For the way home, you may want to plan in advance as the venue is a bit remote. We recommend either scheduling your Uber or taxi ride in advance, as they will take some time to get to the venue.
