Future Mr. & Mrs. Moody

Travis and I met as employees of the local Walmart in Daytona Beach, Florida. In the beginning there was not much conversation between us outside of simple greetings and that one time I came in on a day off with a friend and my curves caught his eyes (lol). Things heated up when I noticed Travis one eventful evening at the Razzle's nightclub as each of our friend groups decided to party. While on the dance floor a corny clubgoer pestered me for a dance and chat. I declined his advances once and for all by noting that I was actually there with my "boyfriend". At that moment, I noticed Travis standing nearby; I approached and whispered in his ear "hey can you pretend to be my boyfriend, so this guy goes away?". Travis smiled; without hesitation he pulled me in closer and jokingly stated "don't get me in no mess!" We laughed, the guy left, Travis bought my friends and I drinks, and the rest is history...not quite. We dated for almost three years but decided to go our separate ways. Although I moved back to NJ we remained in contact periodically via DMs, random texts for holidays and birthdays but mostly checking to see if the other had truly moved on. As life would have it, we found our way back to the love our hearts yearned for. In 2020, the year of connections, disconnections, and reconnections we decided to embark on this journey together once more. As we discussed our future together, I asked him how serious he was about making this work, to which he responded that he'd prove it better than he could say it. Several months later, Travis left the only life he's known in sunny Florida to be with me in the Garden State. "HE DID THAT!!" ( lmao) We now prepare to commit to each other for forever and beyond!
