Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the same location: the Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden in Milwaukie, OR.
Milwaukie is just south of Portland, OR and it is Bryce's hometown. The venue is about 20 minutes from both PDX and downtown Portland.
While we are not requiring masks or proof of vaccination, we do ask that everyone in attendance take a Covid test within 24 hours of the ceremony and show proof of a negative result (i.e. a picture with the date and time of your at-home test). We are happy to provide tests to those who need them; please let us know if you would like a Covid test mailed to you. Don't worry, we will also have tests available day-of in case anyone forgets to test beforehand.
Yes. Either the physical test itself or a photograph of your negative result will suffice.
Yes! If you are bringing your kids please be sure to include them when you RSVP so we have an accurate headcount.
Since the venue is a rose garden, the dress code will be Garden Party. Don't know what that means? Neither do we, but it sounds nice! Bright colors and fun patterns are encouraged. Here's a link to a Pintrest board to give you some ideas: https://pin.it/6HOkx5G Most importantly, wear something that you feel comfortable in and take the weather into consideration.
The average high in early June tends to be around 70 degrees with lows in the 50's. We expect showers and hope for sunshine, but check in closer to the wedding date for more accurate predictions.
While we haven't quite figured out the details yet, we are planning on an a vegetarian menu with some vegan options. If you're worried about not having meat on the menu, we encourage you to have a cheeseburger for lunch before the event :)
