Maid of Honor
Audrey and Jane have known each other since the curious age of 10. They were lucky enough to share junior high, parted ways for high school, worked at Trattoria Limone/La Tavolata as budding customer service extraordinaires, and reconvened for college at UCSB, where they were roommates in two dorm rooms and two houses. Their friendship is pushing 17 years and they have considerable amounts of bff manifestos and embarrassing homemade music videos to back it all up. Fun fact: Audrey and Ben share almost the same exact birthday, so every year Jane takes them both out to eat at a fancy Uncle-Leo-approved restaurant of choice.
Best Man
Ben and Elliot have been friends since kindergarten. Back then, they played the Legend of Zelda after school, drank lemonade, went on fishing trips, and engaged in fierce competitions to see who could fit the most macaroni and cheese on their forks. Now, they play Starcraft after work, drink IPAs, and visit each other in San Francisco and New York. Best of all, they are not above playing with their food when the situation calls for it. Fair warning — their old time favorite cheesy side dish might make an appearance at the wedding. Forks at the ready!
Bridesmaid
We were each others' first friends at UCSB. We became roommates and bonded over back massages, frequent belting of 90s theme songs, and European adventures. While Jane preferred Italian prosciutto in Bologna, Cristina opted for Iberico Ham in Barcelona (where she still lives!).
Groomsman
Ben and Kwun enjoyed their half hour, 3 mile work commute in Santa Monica. At least they had Kwun's furry and stylish son "Tinker" to keep them company! To escape LA traffic, Kwun recently moved to New York with his beautiful wife Dolly and non-furry daughter Alyssa.
Bridesmaid
Meli and Jane shared a bunk bed at UCSB and spent many hours memorizing the Frozen soundtrack and taking fake album cover photo shoots. From shredding the Mammoth slopes to hiking forbidden trails at the Italian Cinque Terre, Meli and Jane are always up for adventure time. As we write this, Meli is WWOOFing in New Zealand!
Groomsman
Johnny is the best brother ever. He and Jane share the same fondness for binging Harry Potter, tormenting pets with weird accents, and overeating at La Tavolata (often resulting in guilt-induced workouts). In high school, Ben drove Johnny to tennis practices. Now, Johnny carries Ben fireman-style at family beach volleyball games. You may witness their shenanigans at the Busa-Huson-Koch Volleyball Tournament the Friday before the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Danika and Jane became friends at UCSB and drank too much...crysanthemum tea. They appreciate Harry Potter puns and dancing the night away or until their feet hurt. Danika is a downright talented artist. She painted elaborate nail designs for friends in college and even offered to create artwork for our wedding!
Groomsman
Daniel and Ben lived across the street from each other as kids and enjoyed playing Star Wars: Knights of the Republic. Daniel lives in San Diego and generously lets Ben and Jane benefit from his expansive board game collection and Spotify playlists.

It took us traveling to the other side of the world to find each other, and we’ve been amici ever since! I still refer to Jane as “Jane from Italy” whenever I talk about her. Even though she’s a white Filipina from California. What matters most here is wine and cecci and dessert, ok?! Jane always lends a listening ear, an empathetic smile and a comforting rub on the back, and I deeply value that level of awareness and kindness in a friend. It’s easy to stand by Jane in life, and I’m so excited to stand by her on the altar!
Groomsman
Ben and Austin had every single class together during tenth grade, including tennis, where they made quite a racquet. It spin a long time since high school, but their friendship is a match made in heaven. They are both savvy film buffs yet can also appreciate a feel good Harry Potter movie. Their claim to fame is placing second in the Hollywood Bowl Grease Costume Contest. Peachy keen!
Bridesmaid
Jane and Arianna met in the summer of 2013 as interns on Capitol Hill. We bonded over our mutual love of Singin' in the Rain, cheese plates, and ridiculous(ly fun) photo shoots. We swore we would keep our long distance friendship going and have spent the last 6 years meeting up all over the world.
Groomsman
Ben and Karim met as fellow engineers in Santa Monica, became roommates, and have been friends ever since. Living with Karim was like getting a life upgrade for Ben (and Jane). High quality French wine, witty commentary, and an endless supply of pizza. What more could one need?!
