There's many versions of this story, but the one being told here is the only one to believe. Kenneth and Sharayah were already ahead of the times. Having been introduced by a mutual party, Paisley, a friendship blossomed from over 2,000 miles away by way of phone calls, text messages, and AIM messages. The conversation must have been great because there was an instant connection once they laid eyes on one anther. They say if you love something let it go and if it comes back, thats how you know its true. There must be some truth to that statement because after separating and maintaining a true friendship, Kenneth and Sharayah found themselves back in one anothers' arms, giving this thing called love another try. Many headaches, much love, lots of prayers, a handsome prince, a beautiful princess, and eleven years later, the happy couple is deciding to make it official and tie the knot!
It was Saturday, January 19, 2019 and all of the couples' family and friends were celebrating the soon to be arrival of Miss Savannah Elise. There had been previous talk about a proposal so Sharayah figured Kenneth would propose at the baby shower. She waited and waited for nothing to happen. After what seemed like the longest drive to San Francisco and then back to Emeryville, Kenneth finally decided it was time. With the men that have surrounded him for most of his life and all of theirs as his witnesses, Kenneth presented Sharayah's grandmothers ring to her and asked her to be his wife. Of course, you can guess Sharayah's response!
