How We Met....

December 2017

Well, long story made short...Mardi Gras season was quickly approaching & I planned on attending the Zulu Ball. I was in search for the perfect dress, being that it was my 1st time attending, & had it in my mind to check out a particular boutique on Magazine St. So I picked up my girl & shot to N.O. to go dress shopping only to find the boutique closed, for whatever unknown reason, so I was crushed & had no choice but to leave, dressless! Due to construction I ended up taking a detour, getting loss then surprisingly ran across a 2nd line. Needless to say I parked and joined the fun, lol, y'all know I love a good time. My girl & I hung out for a while (couple hours) until a guy approached me and asked "what you cooking tonight?" I laughed, talked a lil trash as he proceeded to go with his move (upselling himself)all while ignoring the fact that I had a piece of food stuck b/w my teeth, lol. Finally, we exchanged numbers & talked a few days later... Needless to say the rest was history. Sharard ended up on the same corner as me b/c he was looking for the hamburger guy so he could get a bite to eat, he had been riding his bike that day. Funny thing is... if that boutique hadn't been closed....if the food truck hadn't parked on the very corner I was standing then.... we never cross paths & we never meet! Those things, those occurrences had to happen so that we could find one another. I'd like to believe that it was all a part of God's divine plan🙌
