Do I have to rsvp?

Are children invited to the reception?

Answer

We love all the children. However , due to limited space, this will be an ADULT ONLY reception . Spots are reserved for those listed on your invitation. Let this be an opportunity to “let your hair down” and have a “grown up” night out. We can’t wait to see you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. No later than July 17th. You can RSVP on this website, call, or text.

Should I bring cash?

Answer

No need! Drinks and food are on us for the night! You’re our guest and while you do not have to pay for anything, our bartender and DJ would greatly appreciate anything you can give them to keep the party going!

What if I can’t make it but already RSVP’d?

No worries! Just please change your status to “will not attend” to help us have an accurate headcount.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There will be plenty of free parking in both church parking lot across the street from the main entrance. Reception: There will be plenty of free parking in the venue parking lot.

Can I bring someone?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Reception?

Ceremony doors open at 2:30pm Reception doors open at 5:30pm

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Please no phones or pictures during the ceremony. However, afterwards please use the hash tag #foeputaringonit for pictures and videos!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the reception hall at 6pm where we will be serving appetizers and beverages before dinner time.

Should I use a hashtag when posting pictures I take that day?

Answer

Phones are not allowed during the ceremony. However, afterwards, please use the hash tag #Foeputaringonit on any of our photos that you post on social media.

Are there discounted hotel rates?

There is a link on this website for discounted hotel rates near the reception venue near Merrillville, Indiana. Please book your rooms as soon as possible because they can get booked up.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

The centerpieces belong to the reception venue. Unfortunately, they have to stay.
