We're getting Married!

It was a regular night for Shaq on July 11, 2014. He was asked to go out by Dayo to the club, Opera in Washington, D.C. That night a state away in Delaware, Chrissy was loading a party bus to celebrate a colleague’s birthday at the same club. When Chrissy entered the dance floor, Shaq long locs immediately grabbed her attention. In a playful manner, she grabbed his hair and begin dancing in circles around him. As the night was ending and Chrissy was leaving to return to the bus to go home, Shaq came up to her and asked for her number. She gave him her real number thinking she would never hear or see him again. Over the years, Shaq and Chrissy kept in touch. On October 9, 2016, they got together for the weekend and went to Atlantic City, NJ as their first official date. The following weekends they made it a point to see each other frequently and go on more dates. During their date night on November 19, 2016 at the Martin Lawrence’s comedy show, Shaq made it known to Chrissy they were officially a couple and Chrissy agreed. After seven years of growing together, Shaq decided to pop the big question. In Capetown, South Africa on June 4, 2023, Shaq and Chrissy got engaged.
