Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Although Mexico does not require vaccinations to enter the country, we request everyone be vaccinated to attend our wedding and to receive a negative COVID test prior to the festivities (PCR or rapid). We want to keep everyone safe! Thank you so much for understanding.

Yes! You need a passport to travel to Mexico. In addition, Mexico will not permit a traveler to enter the country unless the passport is set to expire at least six months after the final day of travel.

Question

Do I need to get tested to go back home?

Answer

Yes! Per CDC guidelines, "before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show the following: A negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel."
