Welcome

Welcome to our wedding website! We’ve created this site as a way to share all of the important details with you. Before we go any further though, we want to THANK YOU for your ongoing love and support. We feel SO lucky to have the most incredible family and friends and we can't wait to dance the night away with our favorite people!

Our Story

We first met in 2016 while working together at athenahealth. It wasn't long before our friendly coffee breaks and lunchtime conversations turned into flirtatious banter and awkward hand-hugs. After an 8 month period of denial, we finally admitted to each other (and ourselves) that it was time to ditch the friend zone. Our first date took place on a picturesque snowy day in Boston. Nick was so nervous that he inadvertently rolled through three stop signs on the way to the museum. Luckily, we made it safe and sound and the rest of the date went off without a hitch! On our second date, Nick was so nervous that he didn't eat, and the food was so spicy that Lex COULDN'T eat. So, we sat awkwardly across from one another wondering if this whole dating thing was gonna work out. Needless to say Nick's nerves and Lex's spice tolerance have evolved and dating turned out to be the best decision ever! In September of 2018, with many travel adventures, sushi dates, and ski trips under our belt, we moved into our cozy Brighton-based apartment together. The following summer, while enjoying a weekend with friends on Cape Cod, Nick asked Lex to help him load their friend's boat with beach supplies. After dropping stuff at the end of the dock they headed back to the house for round two. Halfway down the dock Nick grabbed Lex's hand, turned her around, told her he wanted to marry her and got down on one knee. It was the best damn beach day we've ever had! 2019 has been an unforgettable year for us. We both started new jobs (coincidentally, at the same company again though not on the same team this time). We got engaged! AND, since apparently there wasn't enough going on for us, we bought our first home together! It's been a whirlwind year for sure, but it's even more wild to think of all the good things to come. We can't wait to round out 2020 as husband and wife!
