Both Mexican Pesos and US dollars are widely accepted in most resorts, restaurants, and bars as well as Visa and MasterCard. However, American Express is only accepted at a few businesses.
There is both Uber and Taxis in Cabo. The hotel reception will gladly call you a taxi, but Uber is also authorized to pick up and drop off guests at The Cape. Uber cannot pick up from the airport. Taxis from the airport are available, but they generally only accept cash and their rate is quite high and non-negotiable. We recommend you book with a private transportation company - please see the transportation page for details.
In June, temperatures in Los Cabos are usually between 75°F and 85°F and sunny. The humidity is usually between 60% and 65%.
The Los Cabos area is fortunate to have 21 miles of sandy shoreline. The majority of beaches in Los Cabos are not safe for swimming due to strong undercurrents and riptides. The swimmable beaches are Medano Beach, Santa Maria Bay, Chileno Bay, Palmilla Beach, and Costa Azul Beach.
The main airport serving Los Cabos is the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and is 28 miles away from The Cape. A 45-minute scenic drive from the airport.
Los Cabos is on Pacific Standard Time in June, as Mexico no longer observes daylight savings.
