Travel Note
For our out of town guests, we recommend flying into either Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Reagan National Airport (DCA). Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) is also an option, but a little bit of a drive down to DC. For our local guests, we recommend driving via private vehicle or ride share like Uber or Lyft. If you plan to drive your own car and are not staying over night, valet parking is complimentary at the Intercontinental Hotel. Overnight hotel guest parking is charged to the guest's room. If you prefer to use the Metro, L'Enfant Plaza station is the closest- about half a mile (15 min walk) from the Intercontinental Hotel. It serves the Blue, Green, Orange, Silver and Yellow lines. ***As in typical DC fashion, expect a lot of traffic on this busy holiday weekend. In addition, there will be a festival going on all weekend at the Wharf which will amplify already crowded conditions. Please plan to arrive at 5:30 and try to carpool***
