Sundance resort is just over the pass, they have down hill MTN biking, and pretty place to check out. Also if you're scouting out luxurious mountain accommodations this would be the place to look.

For my ultra guests, we are camping next to the start of a very pretty, but long hike. Many backpack it or do it in one day. It is 15 miles, 4,425 elevation gain.
