Question

Can I book my stay without using your Travel Agent?

Answer

No. Please use the information provided on the 'Travel & Accommodations' page or else you will NOT be associated with any wedding events during your stay. We work hard to ensure you receive the best rates possible. If you do happen to find a more affordable option online, just let us know and we’ll see if we can get the same price. This allows us to include you with the rest of the wedding party, so you all get the same group benefits.

Question

Can we arrive before January 29th and stay past February 3rd?

Answer

Yes. The wedding events start January 29, 2025 until February 3, 2025 but you are welcome to arrive early and stay after the events are over to take in some more sun- but please let our Travel Agent know so that she can make the proper arrangements and get you the best rates!

Question

Can we book flights through the Travel Agent as well?

Answer

Yes. Stephanie will gladly assist you in booking room and flight packages, should you wish to combine them. Please remember, all room bookings MUST go through Stephanie.

Please fill out the Immigration Customs Declaration Form (C5) prior to entering Jamaica. This can be filled online (up-to 30 days prior to arrival) or you will have the opportunity to fill a paper copy during your flight. Every passenger MUST fill this form prior to arrival at MBJ. Question

Is there a dress code for the events?

Answer

For the Jaggo, Mehndi & Welcome Dinner, we encourage guests to wear traditional South Asian outfits that are bright and bold – and don’t be afraid to accessorize! The dress code for the Ceremony & Reception is formal evening attire. For more information and suggestions regarding event attire, see the 'Events' page.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

For booking or accommodation questions, please contact Stephanie Hudson who is our Travel Agent at Moon Palace Resort. Her email is stephaniehudson524@gmail.com. Any other questions including event schedule, feel free to direct them to Shanza or Steve.

Question

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

We often say that the best part of a Desi wedding is the food. There will be a wide variety of dishes with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at each of the events. The food will be served buffet style, so that guests will have the option to choose what they’d like to eat. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

Question

What is the weather like during our stay?

Answer

The weather during your stay will be 82 F high and 73 F low. We recommend that you pack a light jacket, shawl, or cover up for the events occurring in the evening.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Please see the "Events" tab for proper attire for the wedding. But be sure to pack light and breezy for the non-wedding event days, since the air will be warm and humid. Beachwear, shorts, sundresses are all a must! We also recommend bug spray, sunscreen, and other necessities.
