Shantoria and Maylon met during undergrad at the University of Florida. They didn’t have any classes together but they would see each other walking through the set and during extracurricular activities on campus. Maylon wondered who is this little chocolate girl who he  could tell was shy but always greeted him with the prettiest smile.    They went on to become pretty good friends, hanging out after class. She’d be encouraging him to get homework done (Maylon thought she had a second room in the library with all the time she spent there) They went their separate ways after graduation, Shantoria relocated back home to Miami and Maylon continued to work in Gainesville for some time and eventually moved back to Jacksonville. They’d touch bases throughout the years until they lost touch for a bit. They like to say they were both just figuring themselves out. They reconnected around the tail end of 2020 and it seemed as if no time had passed at all. A little older and wiser than before, they picked up where things left off. Getting to know each other on a different level and sharing new experiences together, until that day in September of 2023 when Maylon decided to pose the question if she wanted to do this forever. The rest is history…
