What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The closest airports are Florence (FLR) and Pisa (PSA). Florence is the most convenient, located about an hour from the venue.

What is the best mode of transportation?

Answer

We realize most guests will be flying into Italy, and we recommend picking up a rental car at the airport. Tuscany is not public transit accessible and a taxi will be quite expensive. There will be plenty of parking for guests at the venue.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All of our guests have been thoughtfully planned, and while we would have liked to celebrate with everyone, the paper envelopes will be addressed specifically to those invited.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift, and we appreciate that everyone is traveling so far to be with us.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We welcome everyone to show up feeling their best and most fabulous selves! Garden party formal is encouraged; feel free to wear bright and fun colours to match the vibrant day. The weather will likely be warm during the day and cool at night, so a shawl or light jacket is a good idea. The venue features grass, gravel, and stone pathways—block heels, wedges, or flats are recommended.

Is food available at the venue?

We will be providing a meal at the welcome dinner and the night of the wedding. Le Filigare has a local cafe where you can get other meals and snacks. Nearby towns; San Donato in Poggio, Panzano in Chianti & Barberino Tavarnelle, also have local grocery stores and restaurants. Apartments at Le Filigare are also equipped with kitchenettes if you choose to pick up some groceries and prepare food yourself. For those staying at Le Filigare, breakfast is also included each morning!

What time should I arrive?

For those staying at Le Filigare, check-in time is 3 pm on Monday, June 7th, and check-out time is 10 am on Thursday, June 10th. Details for individual events are on the "Festivities" page.

What else should I pack?

Answer

We're hoping for warm, sunny weather, with June temperatures in Tuscany typically ranging from 18°C to 28°C. We recommend light, breathable outfits, comfortable shoes, swimwear for pool time, and something dressy for the wedding events. Don't forget a power adapter for European-style plugs (Type C, F, or L).
