The one where we become Mr&Mrs!

We first met at my brother’s, his best friend’s birthday. I was the host, and he was the guy in the bright pink flamingo swim trunks. We didn’t think much of it at the time—he appeared just as quickly as he disappeared. Two years later, he came back into our lives. I was completely over dating, had given up on finding “my person,” and was fully prepared to embrace life as the fun, single auntie. Then, unexpectedly, this incredible person walked in and changed everything—restoring my faith in love. I was going to be dateless at my sister’s wedding when he offered to go with me. From that moment on, everything felt easy. We talked, we joked, and for the first time in a long time, we could truly be ourselves around each other. Through the late-night wedding planning parties, rehearsals, the ceremony, and all the hangouts afterward, we grew closer. Before we even realized it, we were completely hooked. Our friends saw it before we did and pushed us to admit our feelings—and eventually, we caved. All it took was one grocery store trip to confirm it. We both had butterflies and were over the moon, realizing we had fallen for each other. We made it official on October 21, 2025. We’ve already been through so much together and have remained strong every step of the way. We found our person—our forever. On Christmas Eve 2025, he proposed. True to the gentleman he is, he asked my brother and my mom for permission, and they were more than happy to give me away—no receipts. Now, we’re ready to begin our next chapter as Mr. and Mrs., and we can't wait.
