To our dearest friends and family, We're so excited to celebrate with you, the people who’ve been with us through it all. As we get ready for the big day, we wanted to share the story of how we got here. It all started the way modern love stories often do: on a dating app. Shantelle, clearly a woman of discerning taste (and excellent first date ideas), had a profile prompt that basically dared Christian to be interesting. "Pick one of my three first date ideas." Christian, bless his heart, rose to the occasion, sending a message that apparently went way beyond a simple "hey" (which, let's be honest, is practically a dating app miracle). That first message, miraculously, sparked an actual conversation and not just any conversation. But one filled with a shared love for adventure and those glorious late-night talks where you dissect everything and nothing. The more they chatted, the more that "can't-wait-to-meet-them-and-confirm-they're-not-a-catfish" excitement started to bubble. By the time they finally met for their first date, it wasn't really a first date at all. It was more like a highly anticipated reunion. Thankfully, that in-person meeting just confirmed what their hearts (and probably their thumbs, from all the typing) were already shouting: this was the real deal. In each other, they found not just a suitable connection, but a best friend, a confidant, a partner in every sense of the word. They celebrate each other's triumphs, offer solace in moments of hardship, and inspire each other to pursue fulfillment.
