We met through mutual friends, at the time when neither of us really knew what to expect- and honestly, not everything we heard about each other was true. But the moment we were finally alone together, something shifted. We talked, we laughed, and we realized we had more in common than either of us expected. What started as something light- a "just for the summer" kind of love- quickly became something neither of us knew how to handle at the time. Our beginning wasn't easy. We were young, we made mistakes, and we hurt each other in ways we didn't yet understand. There were moments of walking away, moments of trying t move on, and moments where pride spoke louder than love. But somehow, no matter what happened, we kept finding our way back to each other. Even when life pulled us in different directions, even when things felt broken, there was always something there- something that wouldn't let us fully let go. Over time, we grew up. We learned We faced the consequences of our choices and slowly started choosing each other more intentionally. We built a life together piece by piece, eventually moving to Texas and continuing to grow- not just as individuals, but as partners. Like any real relationship, we've had our share of challenges, but through it all, we stayed. Then came a moment that changed everything. When she became seriously ill and was hospitalized for months, everything else faded away. In that time, fear turned into clarity. What we had fought through, built, and held onto all those years suddenly became undeniable. We realized what we had wasn't temporary. It wasn't just history It wasn't just love- the kind that stays, even when things are hard. from that point on, the future became clear. We started talking about forever. And while the journey to get here hasn't been perfect, it's been ours- real, unfiltered, and full of growth. Now, we're choosing each other not out of habit, not out of history- but out of love, understanding, and everything we've overcome together.
