We're getting married!

In late 2013, James and I crossed paths on a dating app. We viewed each other's profiles, but it wasn't until I noticed his second visit to my profile that our conversation began. I said, 'I see you looking at my page,' and he replied, ' I see you looking at mine.' As we started talking, he shared his occupation as a truck driver who regularly travels through St. louis. Despite Inital concerns about the practicality of a long-distance relationship, we exchanged contact information and began conversing over the phone. Several months later, we met in person, and we both were struck by one another kind and attractive nature. We both sought a long-term commitment, and he consistently made an effort to ensure our time together was enjoyable. After a year of dating, he formally declared us a couple. And here we are 12 years later. I've come to cherish the positive influence he's had on my life, introducing me to new experiences and helping me grow as a person. I'm grateful for his presence in my life, and I'm confident that we're ready to take our commitment to the next level and spend the rest of our lives together.
