It's all happening now!

It all started with a friends face time video call. A call in which we both were being nosey. It proceeded to instagram, followed by occasional texting. Consistency was gradual, and after appropriate discussion we began to date. We went to eat at a Brooklyn restaurant called SEA. From that moment it was history. What a love story! An uptown classic. A trip to Miami was when we considered that maybe this could be something. A month later we got together, another month later we were living together. About every person we knew thought we were crazy, but not one person could say our affection for one another wasn't clear, because it was. Of course we faced hardships with getting to really know each other and our kids being involved. However, watching our family come together was a beautiful process. To look back and take into consideration all the effort put in to this relationship, it is truly magical. 7 months later, here we are, ENGAGED. He proposed on his birthday, at our dinner at SEA (that's right, the place we had gone on our first date). It was all about execution and boy did we execute. With every step we took it was a matter of trusting in our future, trusting in one another and just taking a leap of faith. Putting our faith in each other and knowing, this was it. It was once we cleared our hearts of all the pain and hurt, that our beautiful love came together. We stopped looking for the things we wanted and God gave us exactly what we needed.
