Welcome to the Hill's Love Story

We met back in 96 or 97 when we both were teenagers in Hitch Village a housing complex where we both lived. I was very active in the neighborhood and Trey was into sports so I would only see him if it was a game or some type of event. I always thought he was handsome but as time went by I thought of him as a brother along with his other 2 brothers because they thought of my mom as a 2nd mom in the neighborhood. We were out of touch for years, and then one day at the MLK Parade I ran into him and was glad to see him and always thought he was such an handsome guy. Another year or two went by and I was browsing on Facebook and saw a post of Trey and his 2 brothers and I immediately (Hearted) the picture and commented "My Brothers" yeah to my surprise he wasn't thinking of me as his sister... LOL. I got a message in my messenger telling me to call him when I get a chance. Nervous as hell I called him and we agreed to meet up on New Years Day in 2018. We sat in the car and talked, laugh and talked about the past for hours and to say the least he has been the man in my life ever since.

I was told to get dressed because we were going out... But what was weird is that we ate before leaving and that was odd. We pulled up to a place where we always go and shoot pool, but I was so into Tiktok I had no idea what was about to happen.... About 10 minutes later we walked into the building and I saw my aunts trying to hide their faces and I look at the back and was thinking is that my sister and cousins at the bar and before I could fully turn around Trey dropped on his knee and asked me the most magical words ever..... Shante "Will you Marry Me?" plus some other stuff that I could hardly hear because it was so much noise in the building.... I told him to say it LOUDER because I wanted to replay that moment over in my head over and over...... Of course I will!
