The Westin offers event parking for $15 at The Poinsett Garage. If you are staying at the hotel they offer rates of $7 a day for self parking and $20 a day for valet. Greenville also has several public parking garages around the area such as South Spring Street Garage, 50 West Broad St. Parking, One city Plaza Garage, River Street Garage, Broad Street Garage, Spring Street Parking, and a lot more. It is easiest to just search for public parking garages on google maps. There will be a little bit of a walk from these garages so plan accordingly. The city offers free parking in select garages on the weekends. Street parking also has a 2 hour limit that ends at 6pm and is free until the following morning so if you are lucky enough to find street parking that is also an option!
The ceremony starts at 5:30, if you are staying downtown it is an easy walk to the hotel and there will be signs outside and when you enter the hotel. If you are staying outside of downtown we recommend giving yourself extra time to drive/park or Uber as downtown can become busy on weekends.
From The Westin, “There are electronic signs at the front and back entrance of the hotel that shows what events are happening at the hotel. If guests have additional questions as to the location outside of posted directional signage there is staff that can assist. There are elevators in the back entrance that travel from Lower Lobby to the 11th floor so they do have stops at the Mezzanine and Gold Ballroom on the 2nd floor”
