Our Love Story

You better believe Shannon told everyone she had a date with a cowboy to the rodeo. Excited and nervous, she wasn’t quite sure if she was country enough for Hunter. However, he reassured her saying “I can’t date in my hometown, I’m related to all of them.” And that was the first of many, many laughs he would get out of her. Shannon: Hunter decided early on he would introduce me to Summertown. A man on a mission. Unbeknownst to him, his plan had worked. I fell in love with the town, the community, and most of all him. From the beginning, I saw how he stays true to himself in every situation. I admire his authenticity, his humility, and his love for life. He never sweats the small stuff and is always able to find the joy in each and every day. He won’t tell you this, but he has a huge heart. He has given me the kind of love I have always prayed for. He brings out the best in me and I couldn’t ask for a better man to marry. I feel so blessed to have Hunter in my life, and I cannot wait to love and support him as his wife! Hunter: I quickly learned how unfamiliar with the south Shannon was and I loved her for it. Her excitement to learn about me and my lifestyle shows how much she cares. We were able to share so many interests. I love how she’s kind to everyone, even if she doesn’t know them. She’s been the same talkative tennessee-loving Chicago girl since our first date, and I wouldn’t change a thing about her. I love how she makes me a better version of myself and there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her. We thank God for bringing us together and couldn’t be more excited to vow to unconditionally love each other through the hills and valleys of this wonderful life.
