We met at a UConn football tailgate after Kevin expressed interest to Shannon's college roommate Donna. We instantly connected and even shared our first kiss that day! After several weeks of date parties, bar nights and casual hang outs, Kevin finally asked Shannon to be his girlfriend on November 21, 2014.

For our six year dating anniversary, Kevin planned a romantic getaway weekend to Gurney's Resort in Newport, RI. Upon arriving to the resort, Kevin was adamant about walking to the Goat Island Lighthouse to watch the sunset. Kevin got down on one knee and proposed in front of the lighthouse and Shannon's response was "Yes, of course!" Kevin's younger brother Dan was hiding nearby to capture the moment.
