Shannon worked as a barmaid in The Three Crowns, where Jack was a regular. She didn't know his name for months but knew she liked the tall guy with dark hair. Two months after the first (least romantic) kiss over the bar, Jack asked Shannon to be his girlfriend on April 7th, 2014.

They picked up their little loves, Luna and Billy on October 2nd, 2015. Fast forward four years, on December 13th, 2019, they brought home a little pup called Maya who changed their lives.

They went for a walk along Bow River in Banff, overlooking the Three Sisters mountains, on April 15th, 2019. Shannon was trying to take a long exposure photo, when Jack said "turn around I've got something to show you", and there he was getting down on one knee.
