We met in one of our church's college small groups in the fall of 2018. In that small group, we instantly became friends and everything grew from there. We both agree that our relationship's strength comes from its foundation in personal and spiritual growth. We are forever thankful for those Tuesday evenings at church! Fun fact: Small group is also where we got one of our favorite fall traditions. Every fall, we love to go to Dollywood to ride all the rides, eat cinnamon bread, and look at all of the fall decorations. Our first trip there was with our small group right when we started dating in 2018, and we've been every fall since then!

It's ironic how our relationship began in church and lead to us getting engaged in Sin City. We are both big foodies and wanted to take on the 5 star and Michelin rated chefs of Las Vegas, including Gordon Ramsay. It was finally the night to have Gordon Ramsay's world famous Beef Wellington at Hell's Kitchen when Zach had an extra surprise up his sleeve. Zach worked with the restaurant to arrange for a "surprise dessert cocktail" that turned out to be a diamond ring floating in dry ice. The entire restaurant stopped to cheer and clap. It was a night to remember!
