We first matched on Bumble (a dating app) in July 2017. After talking for about a week, we had our first date on a Sunday morning at Daily Dose in Old Town Scottsdale. Shannon wanted to cancel but her roommate at the time (also her maid of honor) told her, "you need to go, what if he is the one!?" Here we are four years later, so glad she didn't cancel the first date.

Zack planned a Saturday morning hike at Squaw Peak with some of our best friends (Ali and Jan- they were in on it the whole time). We stopped to take a break and Ali asked if we wanted to take a picture, Zack said yes. Shannon started to get suspicious as Zack hates pictures, and we had hiked this mountain so many times and never took pictures! After a couple hikers moved out of the way, Zack was down on one knee!
