Q&A

The Wedding Website of Shannon Porter and Tommy Carlaccini
Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we respectfully request that you leave your kiddos at home and come celebrate our adult only wedding with us.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Please wear whatever you feel the best in. Suits, jackets and ties, dresses, jumpsuits, sweaters. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, so please keep that in mind with your shoe choices. There will be some walking around the property required. We will have heaters in the tent but we recommend you bring layers as well!

Question

Who Is Invited to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Everyone! If you are in town on Friday night, we would love for you to join us. We will be having having a light dinner, drinks, a campfire with s’mores, and karaoke!

Question

Can I Bring A Guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is There Transportation?

Answer

The entire property of Sterling Ridge is accessible by walking. A shuttle from Smugglers Notch Resort will be provided for the wedding events on Saturday.

Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15th.

Question

Is There Parking for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Please reach out to Shannon if you will be in need of handicapped parking for the reception. We request that all other guests walk to the ceremony and reception. Transportation from cabins to the ceremony site will be provided for guests who need assistance.

Question

Are there any other events planned for the weekend?

Answer

Yes! There is a solar eclipse predicted to take place on Saturday October 14th. We will keep guests updated about the best location to gather and witness this beautiful event - the partial eclipse will hopefully be visible around noon. We also encourage guests to spend time exploring the area together. There are many beautiful views and fun activities to participate in at this time of year. We highly recommend hiking Sterling Pond Trail, or driving up the Stowe Auto Toll Road!
