Kelsey and Shannon first met while both studying biology at Juniata College. They became closer as they grew basil plants for Dr. Bennett's biostatistics course. After graduation, Kelsey returned to Colorado to work as an EMT for a year and Shannon and Tom spent a weekend visiting her there. This photo was taken after we climbed to the top of the Manitou Incline. Kelsey returned to Pennsylvania where she completed the PA program at Salus University, graduating in October 2021. She now lives in Colorado with her girlfriend, Kami, and works as a PA-C in a urogynecology office.
Jacob Dean
Best Man
Jacob (Jake) and Tom first met in 2010 when they both started running together in Shade Gap. They competed together in football and track at Southern Huntingdon High School. Jake then went on to study athletic training at Penn State University. After receiving his bachelor's degree, Jake and his wife Heather moved to Colorado and now have two children. While distance and busy lives have kept them apart, Jake and Tom remain good friends.
