How will I get on to West Point if I do not have a military ID?

If you plan on attending the ceremony on West Point you will need to apply for a visitors pass at the visitors center or online. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking near the venue is severely limited. Unless handicap, please park across the street in the Arvin Parking lot.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The transportation from hotel to ceremony / reception is all personal vehicles. Many people in the area will have access to transportation, so carpooling is encouraged.

What are some specific ceremony formalities and courtesies?

This will be a technology free event, please do not get consumed in the moment by taking photos during the ceremony. The Bride and Groom have invested in a professional Photographer that will capture the moment for all to enjoy later. We encourage everyone be in the moment and enjoy the ceremony.
