We recommend arriving no later than April 29 or April 30, 2026, so you’re settled in before the wedding on May 1, 2026. Most guests stay 5–7 nights, but you can stay shorter or longer, what ever works best.
To book an all-inclusive package at Majestic Elegance Resort is completely independent of the wedding day. The resort does not offer group package rates or discounts for wedding guests, which means you have full freedom to book your stay however you prefer. You can book through: 1. Any major travel provider or online booking platform 2. A travel agent of your choice 3. Points, subscription programs, or loyalty deals 4. Directly through your preferred vacation supplier (listed under the travel section of our website) All that matters is: 1. You book Majestic Elegance Punta Cana (not the sister properties), and 2. Your travel dates overlap the wedding date — May 1, 2026 3. Yes. All guests need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond travel dates. No visas are required for short tourist stays for Canada, USA, UK, EU, Australia, and most countries — but check your local requirements please!
The ceremony will be at the Garden Gazebo at the Majestic Elegance Resort. The weather will be hot with some breeze and we'll be about 10min walking distance from the beach. Beach-elegant is the recommendation: Think light, breathable, semi-formal. Avoid high heels (the beach + pathways are a little uneven). Linen, chiffon, and lighter colors are perfect but please wear something comfortable that you can have fun in!

Yes of course! Majestic Elegance Resort has deals for families. Majestic is a family-friendly resort with adults-only sections. We're planning to occupy the family-friendly space, there is a dedicated children play zone, plus daily activities for children and adults of all ages. The adult-only sections are available at an additional charge.

The wedding will be held at the Garden Gazebo at the Majestic Elegance Resort close to the main resort bar and lounge area. The Gazebo will reflect beautiful tropical surroundings, hot weather and limited shade. Weather-dependent options are in place in case we are unfortunately rained out! The resort has a gorgeous covered backup location. The ceremony will be beautiful no matter what Mother Nature decides.
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to be at 5pm on Friday 1 May, 2026. More details are outlined in the Schedule section of the website.
