What is the dress code?

Are children allowed?

Children in the immediate family of the bride and groom will be in attendance. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited to attend.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes. Both the ceremony and reception take place on the 72nd floor of the Detroit Renaissance Center.

What time should we arrive?

The wedding ceremony will begin at 4pm. Doors will open at 3:15pm. Please plan to be on time, as entry will not be made available after 4pm.

Can we take photos/videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that everyone put away their phones during the ceremony. We want you to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. Our photographer and videographer will capture all the special memories, so you can relax and be part of the experience.

Yes, absolutely! Feel free to capture the fun during the reception.

We have elected not to have a registry.

Where do I park?

Answer

Please utilize the BEAUBIEN Place Parking Garage that is located on the east side of the Renaissance Center, 2nd garage closest to the river - 238 Beaubien St, Detroit MI 48243. Please make sure you park in this parking structure. Parking cannot be validated if you park in the first garage, which is Port Atwater. Beaubien has blue signs, Port Atwater has red signs. Once you park in the garage, please utilize the 2nd floor bridge that is located in the parking garage. It will give you direct access to the building. An usher will greet you and direct you to the elevators that will take you to the ceremony location.
