Our story
Ryan and Shannon's story began on Instagram. A few months before Shannon's 28th birthday, Ryan followed her on Instagram. One morning, Shannon and her friend Georgia were walking along the downtown Austin trail when a fit blonde guy ran past them. They couldn't stop him, so they went on with their day.
Later, Georgia noticed Ryan had viewed Shannon's Instagram story. After seeing his profile full of running photos, she said, "I think that's the guy we saw!" Shannon messaged Ryan asking if he had been running downtown that morning. He replied, "Yep!"
Ryan asked Shannon out to Pecan Street Café, now their favorite date-night spot. A few dates later, Ryan asked, "So... was that actually me you saw running?"
It wasn't.
Turns out they had mistaken a complete stranger for Ryan, but that little mix-up led them exactly where they were meant to be.
