In February of 2020, Shannon began working at Central Station Bar and Grill, not realizing it would lead her straight to Ricky. At first, she dreaded taking his table — Ricky always came in with his rowdy friends, ordering drinks one after another, while Shannon, still learning the ropes as a new bartender/server, tried to keep up with their endless demands. Ricky and Shannon slowly began to get to know each other, though Shannon kept her distance, especially since Ricky always had his loud crew around. Ricky wasn’t one to give up easily, though, and asked Shannon to hang out a few times. Each time, she reluctantly agreed but remained standoffish, still wary of his crazy friends. But on December 5, 2021, their first official date changed everything. That night, Cayson Taylor (Matilda aka, if you know, you know) made his debut as their most frequent third wheel, with Travis Debault tagging along too. Little did Shannon know, this was just the beginning of their journey together. Though they had plenty of opportunities to cross paths before, it wasn't until that moment in time, perfectly orchestrated by God, that they came together. Ricky’s carefree spirit and outgoing nature complemented Shannon’s more fiery and standoffish personality. Together, they found balance and a deep connection. Their relationship has thrived with the support of many amazing friends who have become family along the way. While they may have started off a little rocky, they’re now convinced they were always meant to find each other at the perfect time.
