I promise to be where you are, to stand in your footsteps, to stand by your side, to see life through your eyes. I promise to chase you, pursue you, subdue you, forever seduce you. I promise to make you forever, my purpose, my destiny, the apple of my eye, my ministry. I met you at a moment in time, when my soul was searching and my heart hoping that I could love again. My prayer to God was that he would choose one of His creations (female), prepare her and present her to me. You have brought peace to the storms in my life. You have destroyed all of my fears about love. You have blended your soul with mine. You have given me all of who you are and accepted who I am. To the woman that moves but holds me in place. A woman who grips my attention and keeps me from staring in space. A woman who searches to know who I am, to stand where I am, and to protect what I am.

I promise to give you the best of myself and to ask of you no more than you can give. I cannot promise you that I will not disappoint or hurt you. I cannot promise you that I will be perfect.
