Will there be childcare at the wedding?
Answer
If you want to hire a babysitter for your kids for the night of the wedding, or at any point during your stay in the Tetons, we recommend Jackson Hole Nannies. During the day time, if you want to have some time to explore the Tetons on your own, you can also enroll your kids in a day of summer camp at Grand Targhee Resort. Daily kid activities include swimming lessons, horse education with a short ride with wranglers, disc golf, biking instruction, arts and crafts, music, chair lift rides, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, hiking and more! I don't know what to do while I am here visiting the Tetons. Who should I ask for info on activities?

First off, check out the "Things to do" page on this website for a list of local resources on mountain activities. The week before the wedding will be very busy for us, but we want to make sure you get the most of your visit out west and are able to see all the sights. If you get here and are unsure of what to do during your stay, the best resource available is the Grand Targhee Resort Activities Center. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide a one-stop adventure concierge service for everything available to you and your family throughout the resort, Teton Valley, Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Yellowstone. What's the weather like in the Tetons in the summer?

July temperatures average with highs in the 70 and lows in the 40s. July is a pretty dry month, but afternoon storms do roll in occasionally (and sometimes unexpectedly). We recommend bringing a jacket for when it gets chilly at night. But rest assured, few mosquitos up high in the mountains! Also of note, the wedding venue at Grand Targhee is at 7,408 ft...much higher in elevation than most of are guests are used to. Make sure to drink lots of water and wear sunscreen!

Attire for the wedding is cocktail. All other events during the weekend are casual.
