Forever and Always

Nicoli and I worked together on opposite shifts. He works day shift in the maintenance department and I was swing shift in the quality department. He had to have knee surgery and was gone from work for a year but when he came back he had seen me walking around the facility. It took a couple of tries of Nicoli inviting me out, he was persistent though and one day asked if he could bring me lunch to work, with a little push from a coworker, I said yes and he brought me tacos. He talked a mile a minute as we sat on the tailgate of his truck. 4 days later was the first time outside of work we were together and we’ve been inseparable since.
