Out of all places that couples meet, Nick and I met at work. It all started on September 12th, 2016 at a meeting at the QuikTrip corporate office in Charlotte, NC. I had just taken on QuikTrip as a new account at Coke and to my surprise, Nick was the Division Sales Manager at the time, which meant he was my customer. The day after that meeting my boss and I took QT's staff members on an annual trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. The first night of the trip after dinner Nick asked me if I wanted to go for a walk on the beach with him (literally a long moonlit walk on the beach- nice touch on Nick's part!). We walked and talked getting to know each other for what felt like hours. After the trip, we did not talk much outside of work. After all, he was my customer and I was his vendor- how could we ever date?! Long story short, we ended up both admitting our feelings for one another and decided to pursue a relationship despite our positions at work. After keeping our relationship a secret from everyone at work for about a year, we both came clean to our employers about what was going on and the rest is history! Thank God for Coca-Cola and QuikTrip!
