While as an older sister only should, she bullied me when we were younger, we've grown into the best friends we are today. She's always there for me when I need advice, the brutal truth, or just someone to reaffirm my thoughts. She has a healthy lifestyle and with her more recent transition into motherhood, has become even more of an inspirational role model for me and would not have anyone else directly by my side on this day.

Jeremy Wagner (Wags)

Best Man

We met while working at Backyard Grill & Bar back in 2009 when we were the best dish washers in town. Wags has always been someone I can rely on and have had countless amazing memories with from camping in the great outdoors to crushing cans in his driveway. He's easily one of the nicest, caring, unique, and goofy, people I know. There has never been a question whether he'd be a best man in my wedding and I'm incredibly excited to have him with me, supporting me on this day.

Rosa Ciske

Bridesmaid

Michael's sister in law and soon to be mine! Rosa invited me in with open arms to the Ciske family immediately and we made fast friends. We have the same love for wine and IPAs and can hang out with no agenda. She's the best planner, mother, wife, daughter, friend, and bridesmaid a girl could ask for! (Really, this wedding may not have happened without her motivation!)

Best Man

Middle brother and one of my best friends. Ben and I have always had a strong bond as we both have a great appreciation for music and love of medicine. We really became "friends" when I joined him and the glorious Wolverines. Buey Bad Butt has been a great friend, brother, and now best man and I can't wait to spend the best day of my life with him at my side.

Rachel Margolies

Also one of my oldest friends, while we met in 7th grade, our friendship was solidified in high school (9th grade) as we started to get to know each other and our similarities a lot more. Rachel survived Europe with me while we studied abroad in Spain and traveled to Italy, France, Netherlands, and England afterwards. We're always thinking the same thing and can find ourselves having fun no matter what. She's also become friends with Michael who stated that Rachel was definitely in our wedding before he even proposed.

Bryan Gelhaus

Groomsman

A great friend of mine for many years, Bryan and I began our friendship at the same place I met Shannon, The Magnet. We were pool partners for many years leaving many sad individuals in our wake. Although Bryan can be "an arrogant prick" as he has often referred to himself, getting married and now having two kids of his own, he truly is an incredibly caring and genuine person I'm happy to call a friend.

Maggie Giesie

My college roommate (junior year and on). Maggie didn't blink and eye when she only met me once and invited me to live with them the following year when I was short on friends. She adopted me as a friend before I got the chance to say no (like I would have anyways) and has since been one of my closest fiends today. Maggie is also the one who pushed me to pursue Michael in the beginning so we have much to thank her for celebrating our wedding day!

A great friend, firefighter/paramedic, Army Medic/1st Sergeant, Karate Instructor, Husband, and Dad! Sheesh, what doesn't this guy do?! I've known Dan since I joined the Army reserves back in 2012 when he became my initial point of contact and mentor. He continues to be someone strive to I learn from and look up to every day. To me, Dan is known for his goofy, witty, but incredibly intelligent personality, he's always fun to laugh and joke with, but can also lend great advice.

Nicole Carney

One of my longest standing friends going back since 6th grade. We always had an academic competition between us which even extended to being roommates Freshman year of college. We've always shared the same interests, love for latin culture, and party appetite. And while she lives in Florida with a full family and schedule, there's not a beat skipped every time we reunite. (Come November it'll be my turn to stand up in her wedding FINALLY!)

I've known Matt for many years, ever since he started dating and now married my step-cousin Lydia. Matt has always been one of the nicest guys that I have ever met. He is super easy going and loves to have a great time with friends. I absolutely look forward to having him standing by my side, supporting me on one of the most memorable days of my life.
