We’ll be celebrating with a relaxed summer barbecue by the river, featuring classic cookout favorites including burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, grilled corn on the cob, and a variety of homemade sides. Please indicate with your RSVP if you would prefer a vegetarian option or have any dietary considerations we should be aware of. This will be a casual, self-serve gathering filled with good food, sunshine, music, and time together, so come ready to grab a plate, build your burger, and enjoy the festivities. In place of a traditional wedding cake, we’ll be serving a selection of pies from Birdie's Pie Shop to sweeten the evening.
Attire is best described as tasteful summer casual. Think sundresses, shorts, button-downs, and relaxed outdoor celebration attire — with comfort in mind. Flat or practical shoes are strongly encouraged, as the venue includes grass, paths, docks, and riverfront areas. Please come prepared to enjoy a full day outdoors in both sun and shade, with opportunities to explore the river, play lawn games, dance, and relax by the water. We also recommend bringing a light layer for the cooler evening hours.
