FAQs

If you have any other questions, or need to reach out to the bride, please do not hesitate to text her at (908) 938-3715
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

July 15st, 2026

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

No later than 3:45, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for our guests to be in Semi-Formal Attire for the evening.

Question

Semi-formal Explanation if Needed

Answer

Think either a suit or a sports jacket for the gentlemen, with a fun tie. For the ladies, a long party dress or midi length dress, or a nice cocktail length dress is appropriate. Keep in mind, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so I would stay away from stiletto heels for the evening, and the dancing will be held in the grass, so bare-feet are welcome come dancing time. The daily temperature for last September around this date was mid to upper 70's, and the sun sets around 7pm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We do realize this is a destination wedding, so if you would like to, (or have no option but to bring them), reach out to the bride. **** PLEASE check your children's passports if they are coming. They need one to cross the border regardless of age*****

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the reception, in the grassy area before the diamond, and the ceremony is a short walk from there. There will be a golf cart for those who may need it for to and from the ceremony.

Question

Rain Plans

Answer

We always hope that there is going to be good weather for the weekend, but in case there is not, both the ceremony and the reception will be held under the tent on the ball diamond.

Question

Questions About the Border

Answer

Regardless of how you get there, you need your passport. So please check your expiration date now instead of later! They are going to ask where you are going (Kincardine Ontario), the reason why (the wedding), how long you are staying/what date you are returning, where you are coming from, and if you have anything to declare,(alcohol, cigs, etc) and if you bought anything at the Duty Free* That is *usually* all they ask ***Duty Free: You can purchase either 1 Liter of alcohol, or 1 case of beer per adult tax free for getting into the country***

Question

What to Bring if you are Staying in a Cottage

Answer

We kindly request you bring sheets for your bed, if needed, we have several extra sets we can bring, just let the bride know in advance. We can also bring them to the cottage for you if needed. For sure a swimsuit (it is usually still warm enough for the beach) - Let the bride know if you are flying in, She will have extra beach towels available if needed. Warmer clothing for the evening - the temperature drops fast once the sun goes down Your party shoes! We want to have fun the whole weekend so bring your party vibes! (Please leave your dogs at home for the weekend, Penny is even being boarded for the event)
