The Thursday before Easter of 2022, Max and Shannon traveled down to Chincoteague, Virginia to spend the weekend with the groom’s family. When Max and Shannon arrived at the house, they realized they had forgotten the keys to the house. After climbing under the house and going through two neighbors’ houses, they finally found a spare set of keys for the house. Max suggested a walk along the bay side of the water before a thunderstorm come in. As they walked along the water, Max got down on one knee and proposed!
