Matt and Shannon met as a blind set up for a fraternity formal sophomore year of college. Even though Creighton was quite a small school, the two hadn’t met. After a weekend of being snowed into the hotel, unable to leave, Shannon and Matt became fast friends and continued to get to know each other throughout the summer. Matt finally mustered up the courage to take Shannon out on an ice cream date the next school year after some encouragement from their friends, and the rest is history!
