Large beachfront resort where we anticipate the majority of our guests will stay. Book as early as possible for the best rates. This resort is spacious and walking distance to The Funk Zone, beaches and Stearn's Wharf. The Hilton offers 100% refund up to 48 hours from your travel dates and if you stay through the long weekend, they offer a special "long weekender" package with a significantly reduced rate. We also found that when we booked via Kayak.com, or Booking.com the nightly rate was substantially cheaper for a mid-week stay.

Swanky accommodations in the heart of downtown in the American Riviera. Hotel Californian is a five-star luxury hotel within walking distance to everything downtown Santa Barbara has to offer. It also has a rooftop pool and bar and great onsite restaurants. We will be staying here on 8/3 and 8/4.

Kimpton Goodland or Kimpton Canary

If your idea of the ultimate Southern California retreat is longboards, poolside cocktails and coastal cuisine, you've found your place in the sun at one of the best Santa Barbara hotels around. The Kimpton Goodland is located just a few miles north from downtown, no further than a 10-12 minute drive. Santa Barbara and Montecito have a decent amount of Airbnb and VRBO rentals available and there are some amazing options all around the city. This do tend to book up and often have a minimum required so we recommend you look into them sooner rather than later if you plan on renting a house for a larger group. Since we have moved our wedding date up, we may be a little late to the game and inventory may be low.
