FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To assist us with planning, please RSVP at your earliest convenience, before July 25th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is Black-Tie Preferred/Formal. We'd love for everyone to look and feel their best, and encourage going all out or at minimal, formal attire! Women are encouraged to wear formal floor-length dresses/pant suits or long gowns (any color) while men may opt for a tuxedo or a dark-colored suit (navy or black). As we want to instill a more formal atmosphere, please refrain from wearing short dresses, khaki pants, or casual attire (polo shirts, sneakers, sport coats, jeans). Rentals: If you would like to join the group tuxedo rental from Men's Wearhouse, please reach out to the couple (sjwedding82026@gmail.com). If you are on the hunt for dress rentals, we suggest looking at Rent the Runway.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If a plus-one has been included for you, it will be noted on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we’d love to celebrate with your little ones, only those named on the invitation are invited to attend the celebration.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. Please visit the Travel section for details on our hotel room block.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure a smooth and timely start, please arrive no later than 5:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

Question

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

After the processional, our officiant will pause briefly to invite guests to take a few photos. Following this moment, we kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away for the remainder of the ceremony. We want everyone to be present as we exchange vows, and our photographer will capture everything.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We will have a shuttle running from the Holiday Inn Express to the venue before the ceremony and after the reception (please check the Travel section for more details).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, however, we encourage taking the shuttle as there will be an open bar. If you choose to drive, please be aware that parking is limited.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. An open bar will begin during cocktail hour and continue through dinner and the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please indicate any dietary accommodations (allergies, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) when you RSVP.
