Adam is Jordan’s brother and Best Man, but more than that, he’s been Jordan’s lifelong role model and biggest supporter. Growing up, the two bonded over strategic Halloween candy trades, starting a band in Rock Band, a shared hatred of vegetable smoothies, and countless competitive nights of Catan. Through every phase of life, Adam has been a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and support — always leading by example and showing up when it matters most. Jordan has looked up to Adam for as long as he can remember, and having him stand by his side on this day is both an honour and a reflection of a bond that has only grown stronger with time.

Maid of Honor
Meghan is one of Shannon’s oldest and best friends from all the way back in elementary school, where they first bonded over Harry Potter and a shared bestie. Their friendship grew through cottage summers spent swimming in the lake and making s’mores by the campfire, then into high school, where they discovered a shared love of music and sang together in Glee club. These days, their summers still revolve around the lake — now with strawberry daiquiris in hand — and lively games of True Canadian with friends. Meghan is the kind of person who makes everyone feel instantly included. She’s generous, warm, hilarious, and always ready to drop everything for the people she loves. Shannon couldn’t ask for a better Maid of Honour by her side.

Jamie is Shannon’s older brother and Jordan’s soon-to-be brother-in-law, but over the years he’s also become one of Jordan’s closest friends. Their bond has grown through countless cottage weekends, strategically hiding from charades at family gatherings, and sneaking carrots into unsuspecting people’s pockets. Beyond the fun, Jamie has been absolutely crucial in helping Shannon and Jordan redo the electrical work in their home — generously lending his time, skills, and patience whenever it was needed. Thoughtful, dependable, and quietly hilarious, Jamie is the kind of person who makes both family and friendships stronger. Having him stand as a groomsman feels especially meaningful.

Gabriela is Shannon’s new sister-in-law and the sister she always hoped for — someone to share clothes with, swap stories over espresso martinis, and laugh with at every family gathering. With her warm heart, creative spirit, and infectious energy, she’s Shannon’s go-to for interior design advice, shopping trips, and all-around good vibes. Gabriela is also a great baker, an awesome dog mom to Athena, and an incredibly thoughtful gift-giver who somehow always finds the perfect present. It’s no wonder she already feels like family in every way. Shannon is so happy to have her by her side as a bridesmaid.

Kevin and Jordan met four years ago after buying houses directly across the street from each other. What started as proximity quickly turned into a genuine friendship filled with long distance training runs, camping trips, and hosting countless joint parties for friends. Along the way, they also became a dangerously unhinged euchre team seemingly reading each others minds. Kevin is generous, adventurous, and staunchly up for whatever comes next. Having him stand as a groomsman is a true reflection of the life and community they’ve built together.

Liv is the kind of friend everyone hopes to have — generous, warm, and effortlessly funny. Fiercely loyal, she’s always the first to celebrate her friends’ wins or lend a dress when someone’s in a pinch. As one half of the bride and groom’s best couple friends, Liv has shared countless memories with them, from camping trips and cozy cottage weekends to competitive (and hilarious) game nights. We’re so grateful to have her by our side on our big day!

Nate is the kind of friend everyone hopes to have — the one who checks in just to see how your day is going, brings people together, and somehow always makes things more fun. He’s the mastermind behind countless game nights, whether that means a heated board game showdown or an all-out video game marathon. Nate is also famous for breaking the ice in any situation, often with an absurd and unforgettable question (bathtub brisket, anyone?). When things go sideways, he’s usually the first to step in and fix comms without missing a beat. Thoughtful, reliable, and endlessly entertaining, Nate brings people together in the best way — and there’s no doubt the day will be better with him standing as a groomsman.

Hailey has been friends with Shannon since high school, and she’s the one who can always make her laugh until her cheeks hurt. With her love of animals, impeccable taste in books, and contagious sense of fun, Hailey makes every hangout a blast. From game nights with Jordan and Hailey’s husband, Nathan, to sipping Moscow mules at girls' nights, there’s never a dull moment with her around. Fun, loyal, and full of energy, Hailey is the kind of friend who makes life brighter — and Shannon couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her by her side as a bridesmaid.

Mike is Jordan’s oldest friend, dating all the way back to elementary school. Their friendship didn’t start off smoothly — at first, Mike wasn’t exactly a fan. But everything changed at recess, when Jordan generously handed over his phone and let Mike play games. From that moment on, Jordan earned a permanent spot in Mike’s inner circle, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Years later, that childhood truce has grown into a lifelong friendship built on loyalty, laughter, and countless shared memories. Jordan couldn’t imagine this day without Mike by his side as a groomsman.

Catalina is one of those friends who makes everything look effortless — from her great style and sense of humor to the way she brightens any room she walks into. Shannon has shared countless memorable nights at Catalina and Thane’s apartment in Toronto - and now their place in Cobourg, from belting out ABBA hits during karaoke to late-night laughs over good food. They've enjoyed many cottage weekends and camping trips together filled with laughter and stories. Shannon is so lucky to have her by her side as a bridesmaid as she ties the knot.

Dan and Jordan met in university, where their friendship was forged through a shared love of live music, countless concerts, trying to sneak chickens into each others camping tents, and unforgettable nights out. Along the way, they also earned the honour of being group Ironmen — a true test of commitment, patience, and friendship. During the pandemic, Dan and Jordan could often be found sailing dangerous seas together in their Viking games, turning long days into epic adventures. Dan is the kind of friend who shows up and makes every experience more memorable. Having him stand as a groomsman is a meaningful reminder of friendships that grow stronger through every season.
