Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be held at Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, VT. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the venue.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Guests are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or dark suit for men, and for women a cocktail dress.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes — but only for guests staying at the Best Western in Rutland. A shuttle will run between that hotel and the venue. If you're staying elsewhere (Airbnb, Vrbo, or other hotels), you’ll need to arrange your own transportation.

When will the shuttle run from the Best Western to the wedding events?

Answer

There will be a shuttle departing from the Best Western on Saturday, November 22nd at 2:15 PM, scheduled to arrive ahead of the 3 PM ceremony. For any questions, please visit the front desk. There will be an additional shuttle for guests returning to the hotel following the wedding reception, departing at 12 AM on Sunday, November 23rd.

Where should we stay?

Answer

A limited number of rooms are available on-site at Mountain Top Resort, but availability is first come, first serve and may fill quickly. We also recommend the Best Western in Rutland, which will have shuttle service to and from the wedding. While there’s no formal room block, they’ve offered a discounted rate for our guests — just mention the wedding when booking. You can also check out Airbnbs, Vrbos, and other hotels in nearby towns like Killington, Pittsford, and Rutland. All lodging is first come, first serve, so we recommend booking early!

What will the weather be like?

Anything from fall air to snow is possible. Dress warmly and keep an eye on the forecast as the date gets closer!

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! Dinner, drinks, and dessert will be served at the reception. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding and helping us make it a fun, relaxed evening for everyone.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so our photographers can do their thing. Snap away at the reception!

Will there be cell service?

Answer

Some areas around the resort may have spotty reception. We recommend saving important details ahead of time just in case.

Is there an afterparty?

Answer

Yes - the afterparty will take place starting at 10 PM in the Tavern at the Mountain Top Resort (across from the barn). Food will be served!
