Question

What time should we arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30PM on Friday. We ask you to please arrive to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden between 6:00-6:15PM. Please be mindful of Friday afternoon traffic leaving the city and leave with time allowance. Note: the garden will close to the public at 6PM so guests cannot arrive before 6PM.

How do I get to the venue?

We suggest taking an Uber, Lyft or NYC Cab to Brooklyn Botanic Garden. There are multiple entrances to the venue, so when entering the address, please use 1000 Washington Ave, Brooklyn.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Garden Party Black Tie optional. For men, we suggest your favorite tux or suit! For women, we suggest a colorful mid to floor length dresses! The temperature at night will range from 65F/18C - 75F/24C, so whatever you are comfortable wearing! The ceremony will be on the grass and the reception will be indoors.

Are children invited?

We love your kids dearly, however we kindly ask that our cocktail hour and reception remain adult-only. Please reach out to Shannon or Ian directly if you would like your children to attend the ceremony.

Dietary Restrictions or allergies

Answer

There will be a vegetarian option for dinner. If you have any allergies, please let Shannon or Ian know as soon as possible so we can notify the venue.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is no reserved parking available. We recommend taking an Uber, Lyft or NYC cab to the venue. Car services are available in NYC at all times of the day.
