Old Town Pasadena
Old town Pasadena has lots of great places to eat and shop. Be sure to check out the website as there are lots of free concerts and other activities during the summer in the city.
Highland Park
Highland Park is another great spot, especially for food. There are 2 main streets here lined with restaurants of all types, York St and Figuerora. If you are staying in Pasadena, Figuerora is a quick 2-3 stop ride on the Metro Gold Line. York St has no nearby public transit, so your best bet is uber or driving there. Hollywood Bowl
Lots of great concerts here during the summer, it’s one of our favorite places. There are shuttles that take you there from Pasadena. Much better option than parking there if you go to a concert.
